This detailed functioning door and frame are my design.

please look carefully at all the images.

Each one shows measurements and functionality.

There are two pieces that are included in this purchase.

1st file is the door frame itself. This door frame is 1" deep. This depth is to accomodate 1" thick xps foam dioramas. This door model has a hole in the top and bottom. This is to insert your hinge dowel material like wood or wire. I use wooden dowel toothpick 3mm. (not included.)

This door frame measurements can be seen in blue images of this listing. It measures 3x7x1 WxHxD

The 2nd piece is for the door itself. This door measurements can be seen in the blue images of this listing circled in red. This door is designed open inward and outward so you have a piece that is versatile. The hinged side of the door has a fillet added on the backside to allow the door to open inward.

The door also has a recessed area to put you glass or acrylic material so it set neatly inside the door. (not included)

If you look closely at the rear of the door upper right corner you will see a slot. This is so you can remove your hinge material in the case you need to remove door from frame. This slot allows you to use tweezers to push the hinged material up and out of the door and frame.

I have done my best to explain this listing. This is a very clean model and print as you can see from this images of this listing. These two pieces are available in an unpainted version only. You will need to supply your window material and toothpick for hinge

Any questions please ask me. This is an awesome door and frame that is made to fit 1:12 scale figures up to 6.5 inches tall and three inches wide. This item is shipped with light prep work done for painting. You may find you want to do more prep work or not. Each person preps and paints differently. I do my best to make sure all support marks have been sanded but sometimes I may miss one or two. So I suggest before you paint that you have the finish on the model that you like. :}
