This detailed functioning door and frame are my design.

please look carefully at all the images.

Each one shows measurements and functionality.

There are two files that are included in this purchase.

1st file is the door frame itself. This door frame is 1" deep. This depth is to accomodate 1" thick xps foam dioramas. This door model has a hole in the top and bottom. This is to insert your hinge dowel material like wood or wire. I use wooden dowel 3mm. (not included.)

This door frame measurements can be seen in blue images of this listing. It measures 3x7x1 WxHxD

You can rescale but keep in mind this will increase or reduce the hole size for the hinge.

The 2nd file is for the door itself. This door measurements can be seen in the blue images of this listing circled in red. This door is designed to fit in and open outward. In the photos you see of this listing I have shown the door opening both ways. This is because I have modeled a “filleted” edge to the door on the backside.

The door also has a recessed area to put you glass or acrylic material so it set neatly inside the door.

If you look closely at the rear of the door upper right corner you will see a slot. This is so you can remove your hinge material in the case you need to remove door from frame. This slot allows you to use tweezers to push the hinged material up and out of the door and frame.

I have done my best to explain this listing. This is a very clean model and print as you can see from this images of this listing.

Both items can be printed directly to the build plate. Make sure to support the sash of the door when doing this as it is not flush with the bed. Any questions please ask me. This is an awesome door and frame that is made to fit 1:12 scale figures up to 6.5 inches tall and three inches wide.
